Austin Base Closure and Assessment Vote Results

Austin Base Closure:

Just before the public announcement, I learned that the Austin base will be closing effective January 7, 2025. Your Union representatives recognize the significant disruption this action will have on the lives of the pilots and their families’ who live in or around Austin. I have conveyed this to Allegiant’s management and received a commitment that Allegiant will work with the Union to ensure that any actions taken to offset this disruption will exceed what is contractually required. We are working to formalize the company’s commitment in the form of an MOU that we hope will be available to view shortly.

Assessment Ends:

Ballots for the assessment referendum were counted today. With 797 mail-in ballots received, the results of the assessment vote are as follows:

Voting to end the assessment:

Yes – 779 (97.4%)
No – 18 (2.26%)
