NavBlue and Skywise Pilot Update

Fellow Pilots,

All pilots can participate in the upcoming mock bids, including those on leave,
in long-term training, or otherwise ineligible to bid. We encourage everyone to
participate.

Below is an update on our new training video, mock bidding and participation pay,
and the status of two bidding features.

REMINDER: We will be conducting four mock bids:
two in October and two in November,
with the plan of going live on January 5 for the February bid period.
NavBlue Mock Bidding Schedule

New NavBlue Training Video

We have a new NavBlue training video covering bid groups and preference strategy.
We encourage all pilots to review the video as they prepare for mock bidding.

Mock-Bid Pay

Pilots who participate in one or more mock bids will be paid a total of
0.50 PCH under Section 3(e) of the PBS LOA.
The 0.50 PCH is the total payment for mock-bid participation,
not an amount paid for each bid.

Mock Bidding for Pilots Who Are Ineligible to Bid

During mock bidding only, NavBlue will allow pilots who are ineligible to bid
to submit preferences as though they were active. The system will show a simulated
award based on their seniority and bid preferences.

Trips in that simulated award will remain in the available inventory,
and the award will not affect other pilots’ results or bidding statistics.

For example, if you are the third most senior pilot in your base but are out for the month,
you can see what your preferences would have produced at your seniority.
Your simulated award will not impact the fourth most senior pilot,
who will continue to bid as the third eligible pilot.

This allows participating pilots to compare their CBI schedules with
their NavBlue mock-bid results.

Line Check Airman Status

The INFO screen currently displays “No” for Line Check Airman status
for all pilots, including check airmen.

Line Check Airman Status

We are working with the Company to enable this feature.
Updates to the pilot database will take time, and we currently expect
the feature to be enabled at some point in 2027.

Once enabled, it will allow First Officers to use Buddy Bidding to bid
with or away from check airmen.

Buddy Bidding

Buddy Bidding is visible when entering a pairing bid but is not yet activated.
This feature allows pilots to bid with or away from another pilot.

We expect it to become available before the Line Check Airman feature,
which depends on Buddy Bidding being enabled.
