Local 2118 is aware that Spirit Airlines has ended operations. We stand in solidarity with the Spirit crewmembers impacted by this sudden change and recognize the immediate challenge this creates in getting home.

To our colleagues at Spirit: you are not alone in this moment. Our focus is on doing everything within our ability to help ensure you can get home safely.

We are coordinating within established industry jumpseat processes and stand ready, where operationally feasible, to facilitate jumpseat and cabin access on our aircraft for Spirit crewmembers needing travel assistance.

We understand the urgency and disruption this situation creates and will continue to support efforts that help move affected crews toward their destinations in a safe manner.
