NavBlue PBS Training: Mock Bid 2 Open

Teamster Strong. Pilot Focused.
Update From Your Scheduling Committee & Joint PBS Committee (JPC)
Mock Bid 2
Bidding Window Open

Fellow Pilots,

Tonight, the second October mock bidding window will reopen, allowing all pilots to submit their bids. We strongly encourage everyone to use this opportunity to build proficiency with Skywise and explore its core functionalities.

Bidding Deadline
Mock bidding will close on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

Participation in Mock Bid 1 was only about 45%. Because fewer than half of our pilots submitted bids, a significant number of schedules were generated without input from those who will ultimately fly them. This directly impacts the broader bidding ecosystem and can skew awards across the entire seniority list.

Higher participation is critical. A full dataset gives us a more accurate picture of how the system will perform under live bidding conditions. It also allows the Scheduling Committee and Joint PBS Committee (JPC) to stress-test the system, evaluate overall performance, verify compliance with our Agreement, and provide meaningful guidance on optimized bidding techniques.

Our ultimate goal is to ensure every pilot has the tools and knowledge necessary to build a bid that protects their individual scheduling priorities and quality-of-life needs.

Important Technical Reminders

1. How to Submit

Following Mock Bid 1, several pilots reported trouble completing their submissions. Please ensure you click the Submit icon located in the top-right corner of the bids page.
