New Pilot LTD Plan – Launching Ahead of Schedule!
Fellow Pilots,
We are pleased to announce that the new Hartford pilot loss-of-license Long-Term Disability (LTD) base plan will take effect on November 1, 2026, ahead of schedule!
The new base plan provides an LTD benefit of up to $12,000 per month, tax-free, a positive step forward in providing our pilots with improved disability protection.
Pilots currently receiving benefits under the MetLife plan will be excluded from this automatic enrollment. Additional information for those pilots will be communicated at a later date.

Pilots will have the opportunity to make their elections during the upcoming 2027 Open Enrollment period, beginning in early November.

Hartford has confirmed this planned effective date, and the Company and Union are working with Hartford to explore an earlier implementation. A special enrollment period will be held for this option, with dates and details to be announced.
We are excited to see this negotiated benefit becoming available ahead of schedule and will share additional details as implementation progresses.
