Negotiating Update (9/25/2024)

Fellow Pilots,

Results of Mediation Session

The parties completed a one-day virtual mediated session on Tuesday, September 24. Minimal progress was made; no agreements were made. The parties will meet again approximately one month from now on October 22-24 in Chicago for in-person mediation sessions. Additional sessions include October 29-31 in Las Vegas and future sessions to be scheduled by the Mediator in 2024.

Future Communications

Effective immediately, Negotiating Committee updates will no longer be released every Monday and will be re-aligned with future bargaining dates or when significant negotiations events have occurred. Moving forward, expect future communications from the Union consistent with this new communications directive, including how pilots can get involved in the Union’s campaign to inform the public about the lack of progress in negotiations.

Closing Thoughts

Your strength and resolve will be greatly tested over the upcoming weeks and months by management propaganda. Virtually every other major carrier has reached new agreements with significant improvements in working conditions, compensation, and job security. There is no acceptable outcome for this pilot group other than a fair contract that reflects your value to Allegiant Air. Your unity and resolve is needed now more than ever.
