SPC Update – 10/11/2024
Fellow Pilots,
First, on behalf of the entire Strategic Preparedness Committee (SPC), we want to send our thoughts out to the crews and their families affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. Once again, please contact us for any help. Best initial point of contact is Stewards@apa2118.org.
On Wednesday, October 8, you should have received an SMS text message from the SPC testing our platform. If you did not receive this text message, log into Union Impact, and verify the correct contact information and that you have not Opted-out of SMS notification. This platform will serve as an additional official source of crew member notification for upcoming events. On the topic of upcoming events, take a moment to read this Aero Crew News article about ‘Walking the Picket Line’.
SPC Leadership has been in Las Vegas all week, working with our trustee and continuing to organize and plan events. We are set to head to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Headquarters in Washington D.C. next week to bring our fight for a contract to the next level.

Captain Upgrade Dinner – INDUSTRY CONTRACT!
The Education Committee recently sent out a contract comparison document comparing certain sections of our CBA to that of our peers across the industry. Allegiant Pilots, this document should be eye-opening for crews that are not aware of how far behind we are compared to our peers. Our current CBA lags behind the industry in nearly every one of the sections. We must fight for industry standard. It is that simple. We refuse to be the anchor to drag down the rest of the industry; we will not accept concessions nor accept a substandard contract. We will not give up quality of life for a pay raise. It is time for Allegiant to invest in pilots, not resorts. We can take this airline to the next level only when we secure a great contract.
We are demanding a course correction at Allegiant. This airline needs to start investing in its pilots – because when pilots are treated with the respect and compensation they deserve, airlines can attract and retain the pilots they need to compete and succeed. This isn’t just about a contract. It is about the future of your careers. Allegiant’s management needs to answer for their decisions, and we are here to hold them accountable. You’ve proven your commitment to this airline, and now it’s time for Allegiant to show you the same commitment. You cannot run a successful airline on the backs of overworked and underpaid pilots.
Allegiant Pilots, your strength lies in your unity. Stay strong, stay informed, and stay engaged.
In Unity,
Captain Aaron Adrian, Chairman
Strategic Preparedness Committee
