Trustee Update: Negotiations

Fellow Allegiant Pilots,

This is an update regarding ongoing contract negotiations with the company.

Notice from the National Mediation Board

Today, the Union received notice from the National Mediation Board that it has assigned Mediator Jack Stephan to serve as our mediator in ongoing contract negotiations in order to optimize and balance NMB resources. Mediator Stephan will have full responsibility for scheduling, location and the agenda for mediation sessions. We look forward to working with him. The Union will provide the membership with updates on the next round of mediation after we speak with Mediator Stephan later in the week.

Meeting with PBS Vendor

Negotiating Committee members and management are meeting with a PBS software vendor today as part of ongoing negotiations over Section 15 and a PBS Letter of Agreement. As previously reported, the Union had been requesting that management schedule this meeting since June of this year. The Union is fully committed to securing a clear, enforceable and implemented industry standard, commercial PBS system like those in existence at other major lines. Look for a Negotiations Committee update later this week.
