A Message From Your SPC Chair

Fellow Pilots,

My name is Aaron Adrian, Chair of the SPC and a Captain based in Punta Gorda.

On behalf of SPC Leadership and our entire SPC team, we want to thank flight crews across the industry and fellow teamsters that stood in solidarity across all 22 of our bases during our Nationwide picket on November 18th.

This was a strong display of unity and a clear message to Allegiant management and the Board of Directors. We are tired of the delay in contract negotiations and this pilot group deserves an updated contract on par with our industry peers. As of today, negotiations began ——- days ago, this is completely unacceptable and disrespectful to our pilots. We have carried this airline thru the ups and downs of the industry, with record on-time performance, only to be met with a period of pilot furloughs during covid, base closures, petty union busting tactics, executive bonuses, higher than industry average profit margins and still no updated contract.

Fact is, giving this pilot group an updated and fair contract has NEVER been a top priority despite being told so. Actions must speak louder than words. We have waited long enough and have been more than fair in our comprehensive proposal. Let’s be real clear here, we want the company to be successful and make money but it doesn’t work without your greatest asset. Allegiant, you have told our union that you want to repair the damaged relationship between our pilots and the company but once again fail to deliver nothing but broken promises.

The SPC has surveyed our pilots and we have completely lost confidence in management to do the right thing and this is a reflection of failed leadership. Our patience is up and Allegiant must be held accountable for its actions. The facts are these; Contract negotiations have been delayed because they continue to demand concessions. We deserve to be treated fairly with the same dignity and respect as our peers receive. The company continues to invest in everything other than the airline. A fair contract will keep our most experienced pilots on property and by delaying a contract, Allegiant will continue to lose talented pilots to competitors and jeopardize local routes.

So where do we go from here? Our nationwide picket was just the beginning of our campaign and we gathered excellent video footage to bring this fight for a fair contract into the National spotlight. The SPC will officially be opening Strike Command Centers on both the East and West coast. Stay tuned for important updates on those soon. We simply cannot carry this airline thru another year of stalled negotiations.

Remember, our pilots voted over 97% in favor of a strike authorization. That is a clear and defining message that we are unified and we will if we have to. We will continue to negotiate in good faith and follow the RLA bargaining process, however we are prepared to do everything legally possible to obtain a fair contract that aligns us with our industry peers.

I want to be clear, we refuse to be the anchor to drag down the rest of the industry and simply cannot accept a substandard contract. We owe it to our families, the Allegiant pilots before us and the Allegiant pilots that will come after us, to fight for a contract that respects our profession.

Happy holidays, fly safe and more to follow soon.

In solidarity,

Strategic Preparedness Committee (SPC)

Tomorrow Every Base. Every Pilot. One Voice.

Fellow Pilots,

For five long years, we’ve waited for a contract that reflects the professionalism, sacrifice, and commitment every Allegiant pilot brings to this airline.

We continue to do more with less. Management uses us to subsidize their poor financial decisions.

Management has made promises. They’ve made excuses. They’ve made investments – not in us.

THAT ENDS NOW.

Tomorrow, Allegiant pilots will stand shoulder to shoulder at every base across the country – united, visible, and loud.

This is our contract, and it’s going to take every one of us to make it happen. The time for hoping management “does the right thing” is over.

They’ve shown us who they are –
now we show them who we are.

This is our moment.

Tomorrow …
Show up. Stand tall. Leave no doubt.

Let’s show them what “Top Priority” really looks like.

The SPC thanks every one of you for stepping up.

We will see you tomorrow at the picket line.

2025 Q3 SPC Committee Update

Strategic Preparedness Committee – Q3 Update

The SPC continues to build momentum as we head toward the Nationwide Informational Picket on November 18. After five years without an amended contract, Allegiant pilots have made it clear: we have no confidence in management. Reckless financial decisions, broken promises, and delay tactics have only strengthened our resolve. We are standing together to demand real leadership, accountability, and a stable future.

This is our contract. This is our career. This is our time. Buckle up, Allegiant.

In the lead-up to the picket, SPC hosted successful base events at DSM (October 29) and PGD (November 4), with strong turnout and support from the Negotiating Committee. These events continue to demonstrate the unity and strength of our pilot group.

Our next round of SPC base visits will resume in early December, following the picket. Until then, our full focus is on making November 18 a powerful success. Every pilot’s participation sends a clear message: we are united and committed to securing the fair contract we deserve.

Thank you for your continued engagement and solidarity.

Strengthening Our Union at PGD

Brothers and Sisters,

This week, the SPC hosted another successful base event—this time with our PGD pilots, joined by members of the Negotiating Committee. On behalf of SPC Leadership, thank you to everyone who attended. Your presence continues to demonstrate the strength and unity of our pilot group as we work together toward our shared goals.

Update From Your Strategic Preparedness Committee

Allegiant Pilots,

As we head into another demanding holiday season, let’s pause to reflect on what we have carried on our shoulders. Through the turbulence of this industry, we—Allegiant pilots—have remained the steady hands keeping this airline in the air. Yet, despite our professionalism and dedication, we continue to work under a contract that fails to reflect our true value in today’s market.

We have now reached a turning point. Allegiant can no longer delay the inevitable. They are out of excuses, and time has run out. We gave this company every opportunity to do right by its pilots. Instead, management chose the path of RLA delay tactics, union-busting propaganda, and the same tired playbook designed to secure the cheapest labor possible. They underestimated us. They assumed we would cave. They were wrong.

The Vote of No Confidence results make one thing undeniable: Allegiant pilots no longer trust management or the board of directors. Despite our sacrifice and professionalism, they have failed us. Period. They have gambled with our careers, our families, and our future. Now is the time to demand accountability.

Management has suggested they want to “reset” this broken relationship. But let’s be clear—the root cause has never changed. The only path to repairing this relationship is delivering what this pilot group has earned and deserves: an industry-standard contract that reflects our worth in today’s market. Nothing less will suffice. Equally important, this management team must end its toxic behavior toward pilots, learn to show genuine respect, and treat us as the professionals we are.

We know our value. We have been more than patient. And now—our patience has run out.

In the weeks ahead, our national campaign will accelerate, bringing our fight into the spotlight of our industry and the financial markets. The Strike Preparedness Committee will continue supporting our Negotiating Committee with one objective: to secure a contract by year’s end that honors the sacrifice and skill of every Allegiant pilot.

This is our contract. This is our career. This is our time.

Stay focused. Stay united.
Ignore the noise. Trust the facts.

Together, we will win what we have long deserved.

SPC Update – August 15, 2025

Fellow Pilots,

Over the past few days members of senior management spent time flying on private jets to FNT, GRR, and ATW for some union busting activities. Using base visits as a façade, management can get a feel for how united we are, and what type of contract we’ll accept. At the invitation of the SPC, members of your negotiating team availed themselves of this opportunity to meet with senior management at the Grand Rapids event. The negotiations team members had hoped they’d find a receptive audience with Tyler Hollingsworth, Rod Hardesty, Michelle Bathalter, and Greg Anderson. Although there were no pilots in attendance and plenty of time for discussions, management refused to engage the negotiating committee. Our negotiators have shown that they will meet with management at any time and any place/base. These base visits have only one purpose, to lower your expectations and tell you you’re worth less. The negotiation committee has put forward a fair proposal, and are awaiting the company’s counter offer.

Our pilot group makes an impassioned plea to our CEO Greg Anderson, please get involved. No contract can be finalized without your involvement. It’s been 4 plus years that our contract has become amendable. You’ve said numerous times while CO-President and now CEO that a pilot contract is your top priority. If this is true, it is well past time that you become involved and set the tone. Otherwise the last comments from senior management about our contract comes from our CFO, who stated during the last earnings call that there would be no increase in wages for 2026.

Even though the meeting with management was unproductive, your SPC representatives couldn’t be prouder of the pilots of FNT, GRR, and ATW. The SPC asked the FNT pilots to attend their event. GRR, and ATW were asked not to attend the management event. This is what unity looks like.
