Trustee Update – July 30, 2024
Allegiant Pilots:
Yesterday, you received a company update on insurance from Rebecca Henry. I shared the update with TeamCare and was told that the information regarding pilot insurance was not true and not what TeamCare told Allegiant. This is Allegiant’s play: if management can’t get what they want at the bargaining table, try to change who sits across from them in negotiations. In this case, by telling you not to worry about your TeamCare benefits. As anybody who has worked at Allegiant can attest, being untruthful is a tried-and-true company tactic, especially if it creates confusion, distrust and division in your union, and particularly when we are in contract negotiations fighting for the contract you deserve. Make no mistake about it, that’s why management sent the message to you. Please see TeamCare’s response to Ms. Henry’s message attached.

Corporate Governance
With earnings coming out tomorrow, we’ve done our diligence and want to share with you some insights. Attached is the first in a series of Teamsters economic reports that will discuss Allegiant’s corporate governance, historical analysis, and analytical comparisons of publicly reported economic performance and Department of Transportation reported data on Allegiant.
