Am I allowed to book all of my flights and hotels with the Navan App?
Currently only instructors have full use of the self booking on the app. For line crews the only bookings that can be made are tickets to and from scheduled training. You will receive an email stating that you have an upcoming event and at that point you may use the app to book your round-trip travel. All other travel will be booked by Crew travel or Crew Services (Scheduled pairing DHs, IROPs, etc).
What if I don't want to book my own travel?
If a crewmember does not book their own travel to training, then crew travel will book travel for them after a set time frame.
I have a deadhead scheduled but I see a different flight I would rather be on. Can I change my flight?
No. Crews are not allowed to make changes to a scheduled DH. Once a booking has been made, only Crew Services or Crew Travel may change the booking.
I am on a company DH and the flight cancelled (or is delayed and a connection will be missed). Should I just pick a new flight on the Navan app and book that instead?
No. If something like this occurs the airline you are riding on should be rebooking you. If not, or the delay will cause issues with the schedule, please reach out to Crew Services and let them determine what needs to be done.
