Rental Cars

I am on a charter/tdy/mutli-day trip. Why do I not have a rental car booked?

The CBA does not guarantee a rental car in any situation. On overnight assignments there will be times when you do have a rental car due to circumstances that require it, however if one is not assigned then one will not he provided. The company has stated that crews should not request one if it is not pre-booked for them.

I am in a company rental car and at the check-in desk they asked if I want insurance as well as if I want to pre-pay the fuel. Should I do either of those?

No to both. The company self-insures rental cars so that is not needed. As for fuel the procedure is to return the car full and then Chrome River the gas expense. Tolls may also be expensed as well.

I am with a crew and we have a shared car. Can they drive it? What about a non Allegiant employee?

Any Allegiant employee may drive a company rental car with no issues. A non-allegiant employee may not though.
